    Petoskey, MI We’re blessed to have delicious restaurants like Julienne Tomatoes Deli & Bakery. Guests at Indian River RV Resort can look forward to Weekday breakfasts created with real butter, farm-fresh eggs, and Boar's Head bacon. Don't miss the “Stack ‘Em High” buttermilk pancakes with Michigan Maple Syrup from Harwood Heritage on Saturday morning. The daily lunch menu includes Boar’s Head Meats and Cheeses with fresh bread from Crooked Tree Breadworks. There are take-home frozen entrees (such as lasagna, Chicken Pot Pie, and Enchiladas), soup by the quart, and fresh pastries available daily. You can even order a birthday cake. Julie Adams is also a caterer and even rents her dining room, which seats thirty-five people.

    Drost’s Chocolates 🍫 Just down the road from Indian River RV Resort (at 3676 S. Straits Hwy, Indian River, MI 49749) is a sweet tradition that has served Indian River, Michigan, for decades. Craig and Julie Waldron and their enthusiastic team serve handmade chocolates and fudge, and crowds of folks line up for their ice cream on summer evenings.   • Vivio's Indian River

    We have so many delicious eateries in our area. One of our local favorites is Vivio’s, which serves Italian, Pizza, and American Comfort Food in a truly unique northwoods cabin atmosphere, complete with patio dining from 4 pm to 9 pm in the evenings. Take-out is available; give them a call at (231) 238-9471. The menu includes local fare like Whitefish Vivio’s Style (baked in lemon juice and water with tomatoes and onions on top), Tenderloin Steak, Chicken Strips, Steak and Shrimp, and, of course Italian-inspired antipasto salad, lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti, and pizza. The children’s menu includes grilled cheese and smaller portions of pasta. Tiramisu, brownie sundae, cheesecake, and spumoni ice cream finish things off, along with a wide assortment of drinks and specialty coffees.

  • Pier 33 in Cheboygan

    One of the very best restaurants in our area is Pier 33, which is open for lunch and dinner, and offers breakfast on Sundays. Located in Cheboygan, a 14-minute drive from the resort on M-33, has an eclectic fare and daily chalkboard specials that will be a highlight of your summer, especially if you choose a patio table overlooking the beautiful Inland Waterway. Choose from dishes like tender brisket, shrimp tacos, pancetta ravioli, and Angus beef smash burgers. Check with Pier 33 before you dine for seasonal hours (usually closed on Mondays except for specific dates; hours may change in "late summer" / August).

    If you’re like us, sometimes we want Pizza and a Movie at “home”. . . even when we’re out of town. B.C. Pizza in Indian River will deliver to your RV or Cabin!     Cheboygan 🍔🍟 If you’re craving juicy burgers done with style, fries that are seasoned and fresh, heavenly flavors created with bacon, the "jalapeño crunch burger," and tender pulled pork, then you may want to check out our family favorite food truck, The Change Up Grill.   • Maple Moon Winery, in Petoskey, MI

    Maple Moon Sugarbush & Winery is the result of “God orchestrating many miracles,” according to founders Todd and Christi Petersen, who weren’t even wine drinkers when they began producing Michigan maple syrup in 2011. Tapping into a new business opportunity (pun intended), Maple Moon released five wines in 2015 that were fermented from the natural sugars in maple syrup, without any grapes. Their selection has expanded into 11 wines varying in flavor from dry to sweet; maple ginger hard cider, maple bourbon hard cider, as well as homemade jams and salsas.   • Wildwood Coffee, Indian River

    Wildwood Coffee serves fabulous coffee (Black Diesel from Ann Arbor), tea (Republic of Tea), smoothies, bagels, avocado toast, and fresh, homemade pastries (including specialty cupcakes, hot apple turnovers, and scones).   • City Park Grill, In Petoskey, MI

Located in one of the city’s oldest and most charming buildings, City Park Grill serves Lunch and Dinner 7 days a week from 11:30 am to 9 pm. Reservations are recommended.   • 1911 Restaurant at Terrace Inn, Petoskey, MI

    The 1911 serves casual fine dining to the public year-round from a quiet location on a bluff overlooking a scenic park about a mile from downtown Petoskey. The chef’s evening menu (after 4 p.m.) includes entrees like house-made Mac & Cheese, Maple Planked Whitefish with parmesan crust, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and flatbread fresh pizza.
