In 2007, Terrell and Katie Deppe faced a major decision. After selling their home for a job relocation, they struggled to find a rental that felt right for their family. Instead, they took a leap of faith and bought an RV—a choice that proved both practical and adventurous. With their four homeschooled children and family dog, the Deppes spent five unforgettable years exploring the country. They visited 46 states, stayed at over 350 RV parks, and discovered new places while growing closer as a family. Their travels deepened their love for the Midwest, especially with relatives nearby in Wisconsin.

Inspired by their experiences on the road, Terrell and Katie dreamed of creating a destination where travelers could feel truly welcome. In 2019, they made that dream a reality by acquiring Indian River RV Resort. They immediately set to work, shaping the park into a friendly, well-run haven that reflects their spirit of adventure and hospitality. Today, their youngest son, Jonathan, has taken on a managerial role, ensuring the family’s legacy continues.
